Cremerie Germaine Antwerp

After years of being active in the graffiti scene, Robbe shifted his focus to contemporary art.

While he explores other techniques like oil-paint and handmade screen prints, Robbe does not turn his 

back on his graffiti past. 

This exhibition with works from his latest series of oil on canvas, literally takes the viewer on a journey to places that he previously visited.

Are the depicted locations the main subject? Or is it the abstract, sleek shapes and colors that make up the subject? 

Robbe worked and lived in Antwerp from 2017-2019 and regularly visited Cremerie Germaine.

When the owner saw his work, they came up with the idea of organizing this exhibition on the empty walls of the ice cream parlour.
